Daily pages, separate notes and easy finding.
- Start on today’s page or create multiple separate notes on the same day, each with an optional title.
- Browse My notes, pin favourites, filter by pinned notes, today or recent notes, and search titles, dates and content.
- Jump between dates or return to Today. Changes save automatically on your device, with saved status and a retry option.
- Undo and redo edits, view note information, and delete notes with confirmation.
Your words, your way
Rich formatting without losing your flow.
- Format selected text with bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, text size, colour and highlighting.
- Use headings, numbered and bulleted lists, checklists, alignment and writing direction.
- Add links, dividers, and the current date and time. Write in English or Arabic with left-to-right and right-to-left text support.
- Keep typing with the formatting you choose, or change just the part you select.
Bring a little order to the page
Real tables and tickable to-dos.
- Choose a table’s rows and columns, then type directly into its cells.
- Add or remove rows and columns, merge or split cells, and adjust table formatting and layout.
- Create editable checklists and tick items off as you go.
- Turn suitable text into a table with local tools, or use supported Private Intelligence to propose a structured table.
A whole page for your imagination
Pens, shapes, handwriting and happy scribbles.
- Draw directly on the note with a finger or stylus, or insert a separate drawing area.
- Choose pen colours and widths, erase strokes, undo, and pan around the page.
- Use lines, arrows, rectangles and ellipses alongside freehand drawing.
- Select ink for supported shape cleanup, convert a drawn square to a checklist item, or turn a detected grid into an editable table.
- Recognise selected handwriting on your device and review the proposed text before inserting it. Language support and recognition quality vary; the original drawing is preserved by the review flow.
More than words
Photos, documents and a sense of place.
- Take a photo with the camera, select an image from your photo library, or attach a file or document.
- Resize and reposition photos, wrap text around them, and add image descriptions for screen readers.
- Manage imported files and remove unused attachments from the storage controls.
- Add an optional location to a note, edit its label, refresh it or remove it. Nearby place suggestions use a bundled reference list; coordinates remain available when no nearby label is found.
- An optional setting adds location to new notes. Location access is permission-based, with no background location tracking.
Keep the thought. Catch the moment.
Recordings connected to your writing and ink.
- Record audio while writing or drawing, with explicit microphone permission. Pause, resume and stop a recording, or resume after an interruption.
- Written text and ink can link to the moment they were created during a recording. In Listen mode, tap linked content to revisit that moment; switch back to Write to edit.
- Add important-moment bookmarks and browse a recording’s linked notes and moments.
- Play, pause, seek and skip through recordings. Choose playback speeds from 0.75× to 2× and an optional 5- or 10-second rewind when revisiting a linked moment.
- Keep multiple saved recordings and manage recordings from their own menus. Links reflect when you wrote or drew, rather than exact spoken-word alignment.
From “I’ll remember” to written down
Saved and live speech-to-text, on your device.
- Transcribe a saved recording, or choose Record with live transcript to receive text in short sections while recording.
- Select English or Arabic as the spoken language. The speech model is included with the app, so Notenity does not upload audio to a cloud transcription service.
- Keep transcript drafts separate, review and edit the text, then approve a copy for your note. Your original recording is preserved.
- Live transcription is optional, arrives in delayed sections and can be stopped. Keep the app open while processing.
- Use the built-in speech status and troubleshooting information when a model, language or recording needs attention. Transcription can make mistakes, so review important details.
A thoughtful little writing helper
Private Intelligence, with you in charge.
- On supported devices, propose spelling and grammar fixes, summaries, action items and a more professional rewrite.
- Translate between supported English and Arabic, organise text into a table, or ask a question about the selected text or note.
- Review and edit proposals before inserting a copy or confirming a replacement. Approved transformations save a protected original; these tools do not rewrite your audio.
- Local text tools also offer spacing cleanup, extractive summaries, action-item extraction and text-to-table conversion without a generative model.
- Generative features use Apple’s on-device system model and require a compatible device, operating system, available model and supported language. Notenity has no cloud AI fallback.
Find that “where did I put it?” thought
Search your notebook and follow the source.
- Search current note text, tables and transcript copies you have approved and inserted.
- Optionally include related meanings using lightweight local matching, including supported English and Arabic concept groups.
- Ask about your notebook and see matching original, dated passages that you can open in their source notes.
- An available on-device model can help select relevant evidence. When it is unavailable, local search still shows source passages.
- Unreviewed transcript drafts and protected recovery versions are not automatically treated as current notebook answers.
Little helpers, right in your words
Calculations and dates that do a little more.
- Recognise supported arithmetic expressions, including percentages and parentheses, and review the calculated result.
- Copy a result or insert it into the note. English and Arabic numeral forms are supported by the local calculation tools.
- Recognise supported dates and reminder phrases in English or Arabic, then review the proposed date and time.
- Choose whether inline calculations, reminder suggestions and smart shape suggestions appear while you write.
A gentle nudge for later
Local reminders and calendar hand-offs.
- Create a reminder with a message, date and time, and confirm it before scheduling through iOS notifications.
- Open the linked note from a reminder notification. View upcoming reminders or cancel them from the app.
- Create a calendar event and review it in Apple’s system calendar editor before saving.
- Reminders belong to the current installation; restoring a notebook does not automatically schedule them. iOS notification settings, Focus and Scheduled Summary can affect delivery.
Make yourself at home
Your language, your paper, your pace.
- Choose English, Arabic or your system language, and light, dark or system appearance.
- Pick a system, serif or handwriting-style paper font, adjust text size, and turn paper lines on or off.
- Set writing direction separately from the interface language.
- Use screen-reader labels, image descriptions and system text sizing, with reduced-motion support for the introductory experience.
- Choose your transcription language and linked-audio rewind preference, and open iOS device-permission settings from the app.
Keep your work close
Exports, backups and protected originals.
- Export a page as plain text or formatted HTML, or use Print / save PDF. Choose where to save or share it.
- Create and restore a full notebook backup containing notes and associated media, recordings, transcript drafts and protected originals.
- Review, restore or delete protected originals created before approved smart changes. Safe-save recovery and a previous-restore copy provide additional local recovery paths.
- Manage unused imported files and use Delete all notebook data to clear the app-managed notebook and local reminders; preferences are kept.
- Keep a verified export outside the app before changing devices or uninstalling. The managed notebook is excluded from automatic OS backup, and exported backups are not password-encrypted by Notenity.

- Use Notenity without an app account. Notebook content is stored on your device, without a Dreamsnity cloud notebook or automatic sync service.
- No in-app subscriptions, advertising or cross-app tracking. Recording, handwriting recognition and supported intelligence run locally.
- You choose when to share or export. Files sent to other apps, providers or people follow the destination’s own settings.

- Privacy information and studio support are easy to reach. If you email support, the message and any attachments you choose to send are separate from your local notebook.
